Proverbs (from the album Chaos Rise Up)
Absence makes the heart grow fonder, out of sight out of mind
It’s better late than never – a stitch in time saves nine
Old dogs without new tricks
When you live and learn it sticks
Too many cooks spoil the broth; two’s company three’s a crowd
Birds of a feather flock together, but it’s the thought that counts
There’s nothing new under the sun
Few are chosen but many come
Silence is golden, talk is cheap, the squeaky wheel gets the grease
Try again if you don’t succeed, don’t miss the forest for the trees
Variety is the spice of life, and ignorance is bliss
The best things in life are free, beauty’s only deep as your skin
Early to bed, early to rise
A pound foolish, but penny wise
Silence is golden, talk is cheap, the squeaky wheel gets the grease
The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese
Better safe than sorry, look before you leap
The other side’s always greener, but experience isn’t cheap
You can’t judge a book by its cover
There’s a world out there to discover
CHORUS
