Since its founding, the Center has become one of Central New York’s preeminent presenter of the arts and a proponent of community enrichment through world-class entertainment and arts education. DCIM100GOPROOur 400-seat theater, with its outstanding acoustics and diverse series of main stage programs, attracts and thrills audiences from Canada, the Mid-Atlantic and New England states, and from across New York State. The Center has presented performances by artists of global, national, regional, and local repute, including: Richie Havens, Judy Collins, Arlo Guthrie, Leon Russell, SpyroGyra, Hot Tuna, Butch Trucks & The Freight Train, and other notable, emerging artists.

Northeastern Electro-Music Festival returns for the second year to Center for the Arts in Homer, NY. This year’s gathering features THREE full days of innovative electronic music concerts, seminars, workshops, demonstrations, jam sessions, video artists, and a mini swap-meet.

There will be a hands-on “Synthesizer Petting Zoo,” with various rare and odd synthesizers, drum machines, and other pieces of electronic music gear you hadn’t known existed.

Please bring your own headphones for the Petting Zoo, otherwise a community set of headphones will be made available; iPhone/iPod headsets work well, too.

The Selinsgrove Farmers Market is held in the Selinsgrove Commons on the corner of Market Street and Pine street each Saturday from May 12th through October 27th from 9am to 1pm. We hold acoustic live music from 10am to 12pm each of the Saturdays through the season. It is outdoors and usually rain or shine unless some unforeseen circumstance would cause us to have to cancel.

Steve had a growth on his spinal column that was removed and he has been in Medical Facilities since the operation last year. In December his medical coverage ran out and since then has not been able to have OT or PT services to try and restore the use of his hands and feet.

Stu Shrawder and Than Mitchell would like for you to join them on Sunday April 8th, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Front Street Station in Northumberland, Pa to help raise money for Steve's OT and PT therapy but also to enjoy the performances of our great local bands, eat good food, and hang out with good friends!
