For renaming my own samples, I ended up having to use the PC version of Advanced Renamer: https://advancedrenamer.com/
The key thing that was missing from my other batch processing tools (Bridge, Adobe Audition) was the ability to do incremental alphabetical file names, which is required for the Microgranny.
